FOUNDATION:

I mix Mac’s Studio Sculpt in NW15
(http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/4386/Studio-Sculpt-SPF-15-Foundation/index.tmpl)

with Illamasqua’s Rich Liquid Foundation in RF105 (it’s literally WHITE with a bit of pink)
foundatio/7/)

POWDER:

Make Up Forever HD High Definition Powder in Translucent White.

Applied with a Makeup Forever Kabuki brush.

BLUSH:

Mac Mineralize Blush in “Dainty”

OR

Mac Blush in “Style” (much more peach and warm than Dainty)

EYELINER:

Kat Von D Autograph Eyeliner in “Puro Amor”

I’m also frequently asked how I do my cat-eye eyeliner. Lots of practice, and a steady hand/elbow. Haha, I swear I’ll do a tutorial eventually.

MASCARA:

“Falsies” by Maybelline

And occasionally I wear falsies from CVS. I never stick with the same ones twice, though.

EYESHADOW:

Various eyeshadows I’ve acculumated from everywhere. Ask about a SPECIFIC picture and I might be able to name the product.

But I use Mac Eyeshadow in “Club” almost every day.

EYEBROWS

I pluck them almost completely off and fill them in with a pencil.
Really, really, really, really, REALLY REALLY tired of this question.
Here’s my youtube tutorial:

Facial Regime

I use Cetaphil to wash my face, Aveda’s Tourmaline Moisturizer (I have VERY dry skin) under my makeup, and at night I use a CVS brand 10% Benzoyl Peroxide gel on blemishes. I try to exfoliate once a week.

!!!!BEFORE YOU THINK I HAVE DECENT SKIN!!!!

I used Accutane for over a year. It gets a bad rap, but it REALLY changed my skin entirely. I went from having very oily very breakout prone skin with cysts, to normal skin (sometimes quite dry depending on the weather) and I very rarely break out. I really do recommend it, but it’s a serious commitment. You have to take blood tests monthly and use birth control pills and swear you’re having safe sex once a month. But, again, worth it.

Because I get asked this too often:
I NEVER once felt depressed or suicidal on this drug. At ALL.

But I’m not a doctor nor a dermatologist, so you’ll have to figure out if it’s right for you. It affects different people in different ways.

Camera

I use a Nikon D3000. It has 10.2 mexapixels.

Tattoo Plans

1.) “it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live” in the center of my upper back.
meaning: obviously a harry potter reference, and one i really relate with. i love hp, and this quote is from the Sorcerers Stone which my dad read to me when i was little, so it has a deeper meaning for me.

2.) an semi-art nouveau style victorian mermaid with a marie antoinette wig encased in a very fancy and also victorian gold oval frame.
meaning: i fucking love mermaids. and also because i plan on leaving my home, florida, at some point. mermaids remind me of my home, the ocean. i know i’ll miss it when i’m gone. also sorta represents my femininity.

3.) “hell hath no fury” across my lower stomach.
meaning: self explanatory. i’m a woman who kicks ass.

4.) a steampunk mechanical anatomical heart on my inner arm.
meaning: for my dad, who loves steampunk and is a nurse who works with hearts.

5.) a circus type lettering number “3” on my wrist.
meaning: for my mother, who tells me i was three days of labor whenever i piss her off. i guess as a constant reminder of how much she’s done for me.

6.) “it’s a dangerous business/going out your front door” going across my feet.
meaning: from lord of the rings, bilbo said this to frodo, and frodo reminisces on this quote when he and sam leave the shire for the first time. i have a lot of difficulty with anxiety, so i relate to this a lot. pretty every time i go out my front door i go out and face all of my anxieties. it’s sorta to remind me to be strong when i’m looking down at my feet.

7.) perhaps on my thigh wrapped in a gold frame, a portrait of my grandparents from i believe the 1950’s. in the photo, my grandmother is pinning a pin on my grandfather in full army uniform. he looks very bashful.
meaning: self explanatory. they were always very much in love, and it’s adorable how he looks so bashful with her pinning him even though they’re married. i always think of my grampa as a sergeant, even right before he passed away. he fought in two wars, and i have so much respect for him. i miss him. and of course i love my gramma :)

8.) something disney related! i’m still sorta debating about this one. probably involving snow white. i have a huge love for disney, i’ve been going to Disney World my whole life and it’s very close to my heart.

9.) a small darwin fish on the back of my neck/a scarlet A on the underside of my breast/darwin’s drawings of the adaptive evolution of finches on my ribs or inner arm
currently deciding between the three. maybe i’ll get all three! who knows.
meaning: my atheism and belief in evolution.

10.) a tribute to star trek on one of my fingers.
meaning: i’m staying mysterious about this one until i get it because i don’t want anyone stealing the idea ;) basically, i love star trek and it reminds me of my dad.

11.) a pin up girl somewhere i’m sure. probably based on the paintings of Alberto Vargas. i have an obsession with pin up girls :)

12.) possibly a victorian looking Deathly Hallows symbol with the words “it’s real to us.” obvious reasons.

i’m sure a lot of these ideas might change before they’re finalized, but those are my pretty solid plans so far. :)

Why am I waiting, you ask?
a combination of monetary issues, being picky about artists, and a dream I can’t give up (but am ready to)…
